Deputy General Manager IT

Major Accountabilities:

  • Define and lead IT operations strategy for Plant Site and Head Office, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business continuity requirements.
  • Provide technical and people leadership to IT teams, ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and performance of IT systems and services.
  • Act as the primary escalation authority for critical IT incidents, cybersecurity events, and major service disruptions.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, SOPs, security frameworks, and compliance standards across the organization.
  • Oversee end-to-end IT infrastructure and operations, including network connectivity, SAP systems, servers, endpoints, network devices, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage enterprise systems and applications, including LAN/Wi-Fi, Office 365, email services, intranet portals, website administration, and IT Service Desk operations with defined SLAs.
  • Ensure robust information security and surveillance controls, including cybersecurity audits, risk assessments, compliance reviews, and CCTV infrastructure oversight.
  • Lead vendor, stakeholder, and financial management activities, including vendor selection and contracts, SAP PRs, invoice processing, IT budgeting, cost control, and executive reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: B.Sc. or B.E Computer Science. Preferred Professional Certifications:

– Microsoft Certifications

– Cybersecurity Certifications

Experience:15+ years of IT leadership experience with strong expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity standards, and global best practices. Proven capability in SAP infrastructure, enterprise network architecture, DNS/DHCP services, IT budgeting, vendor management, and effective stakeholder and crisis management.
