The Company has successfully achieved it’s C.O.D on dated 21st March 2022 The plant is connected with national grid. Celebrated the event on premises where Honorable CEO and ED of LEPCL have addressed the event with all stake holders on board.

NEPRA Chairman visit

Chairman NEPRA have visited the LEPCL complex for reviewing the performance measures taken by Lucky Electric Power Company to maximize the power production.

April 29, 2023: Lucky Electric Power Company hosted the NEPRA Chairman, Mr. Tauseef Farooqi for a detailed visit of the power plant, interaction with the company staff, and inauguration of the Company’s CSR initiatives.

The Chairman was welcomed by the Company’s senior management and briefed about the 660 MW power project and some of its unique features, along with a detailed overview of the plant’s HSE and CSR initiatives.

The stage was then yielded to the Chairman who spoke at length with the participants about NEPRA’s role in paving the future of Pakistan’s power sector. Following the presentations, Mr. Farooqi was accompanied by the management for a visit of the power generation facilities, inauguration of the flood prevention dyke wall constructed at the neighboring Lath Basti and a tree plantation ceremony.

The Chairman appreciated the Company’s efforts in maintaining a clean and sustainable environment in and around the plant’s premises along with the note of thanks for the management. The day concluded with a lunch in honor of the distinguished visitor and presentation of a memento to commemorate the event.

Investers visit

August 12, 2023: Lucky Electric Power Company hosted a plant visit for brokerage analysts and market experts to showcase our sponsors’ investments in the power sector. The management welcomed the visitors and provided a comprehensive presentation on the power generation process using Thar coal, highlighting the challenges of operating away from the mine-mouth. The company’s efforts towards health, safety, local community development and the performance since start of commercial operations were also discussed in detail.

Following the presentation, a guided tour of the plant’s facilities allowed guests to observe day-to-day operations and gain insights into the plant’s various intricacies. The guests were accompanied by company engineers who addressed their queries about plant operations.

The visit was appreciated by the participants who garnered fresh insights about the power sector, and concluded with a hearty lunch for the visitors.

SAP Go-Live

February 08, 2023: Lucky Electric Power Company celebrated stepping into a new era of process digitization with the successful completion of the SAP S4 HANA project. In an event held at the Company’s head office, attended by team members of Tally Marks Consulting (implementation partner), Lucky Cement (Company Sponsors), and the Company itself. The management teams congratulated participants on the successful completion of the project, appreciating the several months’ worth of efforts invested by team members that resulted in the culmination of the project.

Our CEO Mr. Ruhail Muhammad then thanked the attendees for their contribution towards the timely completion of the project, and expressed hope that the transformative capabilities of the system would drive efficiencies across the organization, and presented a token of appreciation to the TMC management for their continued support throughout the project.

The speeches were followed by a cake cutting and award distribution ceremony, following which, the participants were invited to a hearty buffet dinner to end the evening

3 Million Safe Man Hours

The company has achieved its 3 Million Safe Man Hours milestone successfully with the help of all LEPCL and HEI colleagues who made safety as their primary concerns in all aspects of their job. The event has started with Recitation of Quran, followed by National Anthem of Pakistan. LEPCL CEO, COO, CO and Plant Head are sharing their thoughts with distributing awards to the good achievers.
